What Are the System Requirements for Big Talk Button?

In What Formats is Big Talk Button Available?
Mac: AAX, VST3, and AU
One license includes all formats. You can choose which formats to install when you run the installer.

Yep! Big Talk Button is Silicon native.

Do You Offer a Free Trial?
Yes! You can try Big Talk Button free for seven (7) days.

How Do I Start a Trial?
To start a trial, install Big Talk Button. When you instantiate it, the Settings Window will automatically open. Click on the Online or Offline button underneath “Start a Trial”, and enter your email address. An Online Trial will start immediately. For an Offline Trial, follow the instructions in the popup window:

"A file named 'ls_activation.req' has been saved to your Desktop."
"Next steps:"

Load the response file and your trial will begin.

How Do I Activate a License Key After I've Purchased Big Talk Button?​
If you have purchased a perpetual license key, install Big Talk Button. When you instantiate it, the Settings Window will automatically open. Click the Online or Offline button underneath "Activate a License". For Online activation, paste your trial key in the window and click Activate.
For Offline activation, click the Offline button and follow the instructions on the popup window:

How Do I Use Big Talk Button?
Add one instance of Mic Channel to your microphone track. Once you do, your microphone will be muted. Engaging the Push to Talk Button will un-mute your microphone and, if you have added an instance of Output Channel to your output track, dim the output to your speakers/headphones by the amount you chose on the Dim Knob.
Why does my Mac's error sound happen sometimes when I'm using a keyboard key trigger?
That's your Mac saying "you can't use a keyboard key in this window" and it's the correct behavior. You can generally avoid this by making sure your cursor is in a place where you can type. For example, in Zoom, open up the Chat window and make sure your cursor is in there when you press your Trigger Key, and the error sound will no longer happen.
